Happy Birthday to the sweetest 4 year old!!!

Happy Birthday sweet sweet Olivia!!!  This last year has been one of the best yet!!!  You have been so much fun!!!  That imagination of yours is something special!!! We have had many a conversations that have been off the wall!!  Your heart is so full of love that it overflows!!!  You are one to give loves and kisses all the time.  We can even sneak cuddles in there from time to time.  Please continue to be the sweet, sweet girl that you are.  Your smiles are contagious!!!  I hope you know that you are one loved little girl by many!!!  We love you so much!!!  Mommy and Daddy!!!

We brought the outside in.

Olivia was begging to go outside again today.  Josh was getting ready for a superbowl party and I had to get ready for work.  So to appease everyone, I went outside and grabbed a bowl full of snow and let Olivia play with it at the table.  With cookie cutters, Little Pet shop toys and other random kitchen tools, this led to entertainment for awhile.

Thank goodness for Daddy...

otherwise this little lady would  not learn how to cook.  Josh purchased a pasta maker for his birthday and figured this cold, snowy day would be a perfect day to try it out. Olivia also loves to be in the kitchen 'helping,' so this was a match made in heaven. 

I think Giada DeLaurentiis needs to watch out!!

Finally...

Olivia was so excited to see it snowing outside.  She was waiting patiently for it to snow enough for her to go out and use her new sled she got for Christmas.  Josh and Olivia stayed outside for almost 2 hours!!  Josh said that she loved the sled and would like to do it again!!!



In love...

Today while Olivia and I were eating lunch, she looked at me all serious and said, "Mommy, are you in love?"

Me: Why yes, Olivia. I am. I love your daddy.

She sat and thought about this a second and said, Hmm. That makes sense.

Me: What makes sense?

Olivia: That you love Daddy. You are married to him.

Me: Do you think Daddy loves me?

Olivia: Yes, he married you!!!


It took all my power not to start laughing. It was cute to see here little wheels turning!!

Prisoner

With all this nice weather, it is impossible to get anything done inside.  We have been held prisoners by the sun and forced to go to the park.  We were there for 2 hours today.  We could definitely get used to the weather.
