A little more Christmas

Olivia has had a ton of Santa experiences lately.  She received her video from the portable north pole.  When I showed her the video, her face was priceless.  She is such a believer this year, it is so fun!!!  She was also excited to know that she was on the nice list.

She also received a phone call from Santa last night.  Through our town's park and rec, you can sign up to have Santa call.  It is cute because she was amazed he knew what she wanted and she had not sat on his lap yet!!!

Then tonight we went to Bass Pro and saw Santa.  She was very excited about the whole thing.   Bass Pro does an excellent job, all for free!!

We also made cookies.  Olivia was very concerned about what cookies the big man would eat.  She made a couple just for him!!

Lastly, that elf has been at it again!!!  Olivia just giggled when she saw this!!

Future teacher?

Olivia and I were finishing up Christmas shopping at the mall today. Every trip to the mall includes a stop at the book store.  She LOVES books and loves to look at all of the different books.  Today she made me sit and listen to her while she read.

While I was away...

So, during the six months I was not blogging, we had some fun, here is a look back:

June:

A trip to Kansas City.  Funny story, we should have been camping in Minnesota but a flash flood happened 24 hours before we were to leave.  We had fun anyway.  We went to Legoland, Sealife, and we even let Josh stop at the WWI museum.

Hit up the pool...alot!!
went on picnics

and just tried to keep cool.

July:
Corn on the 4th
Summerfest

Visited grandparents

Went to birthday parties

Got a new ride.

August:
Went to parks!!

Rested from all the park playing!!!

September:
Went to a couple pumpkin patches!!

Started soccer!!
Rode some bikes!!
October:
I ran AND finished my 1st half marathon.  (I did say first, with hopes to complete a couple in 2013!)

Went trick or treating!!!

November:

Went a little crazy!!!

Josh and I slipped away to Mexico.  Man was it crazy getting there, but once we were there (had our luggage, a hotel room for another night) it was very relaxing!!!  Thanks again to both sets of parents!!!

Saw the magical Disney on Ice!!

I feel better being caught up!!!  This is my pledge to stay a better blogger!!!

Guess whos back....

You guessed it!!!  MARTIN!!!  Martin made his appearance about a week and a half ago.  He has gone over much better this year than last!!  He has been very nice to Olivia, but I have a feeling that will start changing!!!

The "stockings"are Olivia's undies!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season!!!  Olivia is at a great age and everything is so exciting for her!  It makes everything that more exciting for us!!!

(Sorry about the 6 mo. hiatus!!!)
